Registration
Yes, your registration will be applied to IHPBA 2020 Virtual Congress. The registration team will be in contact with confirmation and to discuss a refund of the price difference.

Should you not be able to attend IHPBA 2020 Virtual Congress, please contact us by 4 September 2020 to discuss options.

If you have booked accommodation via the congress, this has been cancelled at no cost to you. The IHPBA 2020 Congress Secretariat will be in touch with you directly to confirm this.
Unfortunately, the congress is not in a position to provide reimbursements for flights.
Program
The IHPBA 2020 Virtual Congress will remain a full educational and scientific experience and will facilitate interactions among surgeons, physicians, researchers, scientists, clinicians and other health professionals from around the world. Attendees will be able to:
- Watch live plenary sessions
- Access 1000+ on-demand content for an extended time post-congress
- Connect with colleagues from around the world
- Make new connections with a larger and more global audience, many of whom may have not attended due to cost and travel constraints
- Connect with industry partners via the virtual exhibition
- Catch up on missed sessions – live sessions will be recorded and made available on demand
The scientific committee are currently working on finalising an exciting program for the IHBPA 2020 Virtual congress. We will let you know in September whether program changes will affect your presentation.
Yes, you will need to be registered for your abstract to be accepted into the program.
Abstracts selected for presentation cannot be changed. The scientific program team will be in touch with the corresponding author in due course.

Yes, all live sessions will be recorded and will be available on-demand afterwards.
Yes, there will be a virtual exhibition.
The session times on the virtual platform are noted in your local time (according to your device). You can also double check this on the programme overview which has a handy converter tool.

You zoom link will be emailed to you during the week of the 23rd of November and again on the morning of your presentation.
